Meet Joe

With a background in Economics, Joseph started his career as a Business Manager at Mploy Associates. According to Joseph: “The Stakeholder Management course provided me with the tools to create overview and the skills to be more efficient in managing my stakeholders. As a result, I became more confident in communication with my various stakeholders and created stronger bonds allowing for greater influence and efficiency.”

Nowadays, Joseph is an internal Product Owner & Business Analyst for 2 squads within the Statutory & Regulatory Reporting Tribe at ING.

Meet Mats

With a background in Financial Mathematics, Mats started his career as a Quant Modeller at Mploy Associates. Besides developing his technical skills, Mats also wanted to focus more on developing his soft skills during the Consultant Talent Program. For that reason he participated in a lot of soft skill courses such as “Corporate Communication”, “Lead Effective Meetings”, and “The Power of Feedback”. These courses helped him a lot in building connections with his stakeholders.

Nowadays, Mats is part of the internal ABN AMRO IFRS9/Stress Testing team and started to develop a model for Climate Stress Testing.

Meet Lina

With a background in Business Administration and Analytics, Lina started her career as a Data Issue manager at Mploy Associates. One of the courses Lina followed during her Consultant Talent program was the Corporate Communication course. According to her: “I think that this course is for everyone! The course makes you more aware of what you want to communicate and how, which is super important at the beginning of your career. You get to take the first steps in expressing yourself clearly and understanding others.”

Nowadays, Lina is the internal lead of the Data Issue Management Accounting team at ABN AMRO.

Meet Ivan

With a background in Accounting, Ivan started his career as Business Analyst at Mploy Associates.

During his project on management reporting, he developed himself as leading analyst by taking initiative and responsibility.

Nowadays, Ivan is product owner of one of the reporting and analytics teams of our client.

Meet Gian

Combining his background in Economics with powerful coding skills, Gian started his career as Data Engineer at Mploy Associates.

During his project on data architecture development, he developed himself as a full-stack data and IT engineer.

Nowadays, Gian is an allround DevOps Engineer overseeing the full end-to-end cycle of software and infrastructure development at our client.

Meet Wouter

During his project on health insurance modelling, he developed himself as a pricing expert and started the postgraduate training to become a certified actuary.

No matter which program you are enrolled in, all Mploy Associates employees spend 10% of their work hours on development. Our three most common development paths are:

Talent Program

The program for entry-level consulting experts. Discover and develop your corporate identity to become a leading expert in data, finance, analytics or IT within 24 months and make the next career step at the client as a highly trained medior. Or broaden your horizons and become a medior consultant at Mploy Associates, while continuous development gives you a competitive edge and prepares you for a senior position.

Post PhD Program

The program for outstanding PhD graduates. Make the switch from an academic to a corporate career in data, finance, analytics or IT within 12 months. After this you can take the next career step at the client as a highly educated expert or you can develop further within Mploy Associates as a medior or managing consultant.

Corporate Development Program

The program for entry-level until senior corporate positions. To grow and become the best-in-class as a professional in marketing, business relations, talent development or any other area of expertise. Improving existing skills and developing new hard and soft skills is at the core of our unique program.

All our development programs are based on three pillars: personal, professional and technical development. We believe these are the foundation of successful programs, people, and organizations.

Personal

Skills you need to succeed both in your role and life in general. For new colleagues, personal development is aimed at the transition from a high potential to a confident and self-reflective professional. This we put into action and develop to make you a leading expert. This is achieved through personal coaching, intervision sessions and close supervision of your personal Talent Manager.

Professional

At junior level, our programs focus on acquiring basic business skills such as presenting, agile working, feedback and time management. After this, more advanced competencies are developed for a mid-level role in a corporate environment. Examples are storytelling, project management, conflict management and negotiation.

Technical

Examples of provided entry-level theoretical courses are coding skills in SAS, Python or C#. Hereafter more advanced and role specific courses are given. Examples are Spark, Hadoop or Azure. We also offer the possibility to achieve relevant certifications such as CFA, FRM, Scrum Master, Product Owner or multiple coaching certifcations.

The difference between traineeships and talent programs?

Our talent program is a 1- or 2-year program that aims to make you excel within the environment where you work. The advantage of a talent program is that you can quickly take on responsibilities and grow your career instead of moving around in a company. To make the most of our talent focused approach, Mploy Associates is a strong advocate of talent programs.

Are all employees enrolled in a development program?

Yes. Our most common development programs are the Young Talent Program, Post PhD Program and Corporate Development Program. We also use a Consulting Development Program for medior and managing consultants and a Leadership Development Program for our management positions. All development programs are based on the same three development areas and all employees spend 10% of their working hours on development.
